Rooted Altar Ministries Camp Out and Retreat

The Rooted Altar Ministries Camp Out and Ministry Retreat was from October 4th to October 6th. It was such a wonderful success!! We focused on communication and learning to be good communicators. There were lessons and activities for the children and adults. We all have to be active listeners as well as good communicators. We have to listen to and for words from God.

Jeremiah 1:9 - Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
Part of communicating is being able to give instructions. But, we also have to be mindful of what we say and how we say it.

Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
