He Has Risen!! What a wonderful Easter Celebration we had at Rooted Altar Ministries. It started with a spirit filled Sunrise Service as we watched the sun appear over the trees through the clouds. It may have been raining outside but there was love, joy, friendship, fellowship, food, fun, and the presence of the Lord on the inside!! From Holy Communion to the Easter Carnival, you could see and feel the Hand of God at work! Happy Easter to everyone from the Rooted Altar Ministries Family! Rooted Altar Ministries was blessed to participate in Easter for Thousands sponsored by Mountaire Farms. We were able to volunteer and help in packaging 3000 Easter Meal Boxes. Each box contained enough to feed a family of four. We were honored to receive 54 Meal Boxes that were distributed from our location on March 28th. This is such an awesome and humbling experience. We would like to thank Mountaire Farms for their continued generosity. It's the first Sunday of the month! Lent is the time for praying, fasting, and giving. Please help support our food drive by bring your non-perishable food items for the Blessings Box! You never know who you're helping with your gesture of kindness!  |
