And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.
"Job can't make me
Bills can't break me
Disease can't take me
You can't drown me
My God Surrounds me
That's what I told the storm.."
JESUS!... JESUS!... JESUS!!!
GLORY TO HIS NAME!!!
Rooted Altar Ministries would like to invite you to join us in prayer on April 2nd at 7:00 pm.
During these trying times, we must diligently call on the name on the Lord.
The Prayer Line is open to everyone. Call in and be blessed!
Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found;
surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Plowing the Field Luke 9:57-62
57 As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.”
58 Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
59 He said to another man, “Follow me.”
But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”
61 Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.”
62 Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”
Thanks to everyone for calling in on the Rooted Altar Ministries March 5th Prayer Line last night.
Before we went into prayer, our host Cathy Poplin spoke on:
“Is Your Faith Bigger than Your Fear?”
She reminded us that in Exodus 14:22, the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground. She expounded on how three boys in Daniel 3:17 were delivered from the burning fiery furnace.
In each of these situations, their Faith had to far exceed their fear. But, they also had to go through something in order to get to the end.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
In closing, we reflected on Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Sometimes, we just have to “Be Still”
